1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for an account, or purchasing a personalized learning plan on HomeschoolPLP, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the website and services.

2. Eligibility & Parent-Managed Accounts

You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account or purchase a plan.

Parent-Managed Accounts: HomeschoolPLP accounts are created and managed exclusively by parents or legal guardians. Students must not create accounts independently. Student questionnaire questions must be answered only with the authorization and active involvement of the student’s parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Accuracy & Security

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep your account email updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately at help@homeschoolplp.com.

4. Description of the Service

HomeschoolPLP provides an educational matching and planning platform. Parents complete learning-preference questionnaires reflecting student learning preferences, core subjects, and pacing needs. Our algorithm compares these preferences with the characteristics of homeschool curricula to generate objective recommendations and downloadable learning plans.

Every student learns differently. HomeschoolPLP makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding specific academic performance, test scores, mastery levels, course completion, grade promotion, high school diploma eligibility, or college admissions.

7. Parent Responsibility for Curriculum & Legal Compliance

Parents and legal guardians retain complete and sole responsibility for:

• Reviewing, purchasing, and implementing chosen curricula.
• Supervising the student’s daily instruction and learning environment.
• Ensuring full compliance with applicable state homeschool laws, filing requirements, mandatory subjects, standardized testing rules, and local school district guidelines.

8. Charter School & Vendor Purchasing Approval

While HomeschoolPLP provides filtering options (such as secular/religious orientation) to help families explore programs that may align with public charter or education savings account (ESA) requirements, HomeschoolPLP does not guarantee that any specific curriculum will be approved for purchase, reimbursement, or funding by any particular charter school, district, or agency. Final purchasing approval remains subject to each individual institution’s policies.

9. Purchases, Fees & Payment Processing

Access to full personalized recommendations and finalized learning plans requires payment of a one-time fee as presented at checkout (including our 2026 Launch Special of $10 per plan through December 31, 2026, or standard pricing of $14 for the first student plan and $10 for subsequent plans or retakes).

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By initiating a purchase, you authorize our third-party payment processor to charge your elected payment method for the total stated amount.

10. Incorporation of Refund Policy

All purchases on HomeschoolPLP are subject to our Refund Policy, which is hereby incorporated into these Terms by reference. Because learning plans and match recommendations are digital goods delivered immediately upon payment, purchases are generally final and nonrefundable, subject to the limited refund exceptions outlined in the Refund Policy.

11. Intellectual Property & Limited License

Our Intellectual Property: The HomeschoolPLP website, matching algorithm, scoring criteria, layout, graphics, text, branding, code, and documentation are owned by Personalized Learning Partners LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

Limited User License: Subject to these Terms, HomeschoolPLP grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view, download, print, and share your generated personalized learning plans solely for your family’s personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not resell, sublicense, publicly redistribute for commercial gain, or scrape our recommendations.

12. Third-Party Curricula, Trademarks & Links

Curriculum titles, publisher names, logos, and descriptions referenced on HomeschoolPLP are the trademarks and intellectual property of their respective publishers. Reference to third-party curricula does not constitute or imply an endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership by or with HomeschoolPLP.

Outbound hyperlinks to third-party publisher websites are provided for your informational convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites.

13. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Extract, scrape, crawl, harvest, or index catalog data, question sets, or scoring logic using automated means.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the website or algorithm.
• Circumvent security controls, PostgreSQL Row Level Security policies, or authentication barriers.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our servers or networks.

14. Service Modifications & Availability

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of HomeschoolPLP at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee that the service will be available uninterrupted, error-free, or free of technical bugs.

15. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that harms HomeschoolPLP, our users, or third parties.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOMESCHOOLPLP AND ALL RELATED SERVICES, CONTENT, AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PERSONALIZED LEARNING PARTNERS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO HOMESCHOOLPLP FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE IN DISPUTE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of HomeschoolPLP shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When modifications are made, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of HomeschoolPLP following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revisions.
